With dance floors, DJ booths and occasional live performances nightclubs can be easily distinguished from bars, pubs and taverns which are primarily alcohol joints, with some music being played in the backdrop.
Nightclubs are stylish and trendy places attracting a lot of people. The maddening dance and rocking music at the clubs are occasionally accompanied by stand-up comedians, “go-go” dancer’s strippers, or live bands. The most well-known nightclubs are identified with the kind of music played there that could include anything from house music, heavy metal, and techno to the genres of salsa, hip-hop, and garage funk.
